About The LRC

The Definition of Health
World Health Organization
 1948

"Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity."

Innovation Is Adaptation:
Solutions emerge in shared problem-solving

The LRC was born in the COVID-19 pandemic as an innovative pivot to continue medical education and training with partners despite an inability to travel.  Today, the LRC continues to evolve to serve the current needs as they arrive.

Partnerships Build Community

The creators of the LRC are committed to collaboration. Working with academic institutions, ministries of health, non-profit companies and professional societies - the LRC aims to serve the global community in concert with the work of others. The LRC strives to curate peer-reviewed and evidence-based materials from reliable sources. We direct leaners to global authorities whenever feasible. When content is created, our contributors always strive to provide up-to-date and accurate information.

Education Should Be Free & Accessible

We believe education should be free. The LRC pledges that content on this platform will continue to be free, open-access, and without influence of advertisers. The LRC is fully functional on computers, tablets, and smartphones. Downloadable materials for offline use are made available as feasible. Translation services are available for select learning elements.
